Competitive Information for Visiting Angels' Franchises
Visiting Angels’ owners in franchises across New England have hired my company, Targeting Sales Growth, to identify current pricing and profile information on their top, key competitors. This information has helped them position their pricing model competitively, while not leaving money on the table.
My Competitive Information Service is always personalized to each owner’s specific needs with pricing rates, with trends on minimum hours per visit, while uncovering key insights on competitors’ policies and procedures. These competitors are usually a combination of other franchises and independents Home Care agencies.

How my competitive data program works:

  • You select the key competitors & their town/city (usually 5 to 6 competitors).
  • We review the pricing questions that I will ask each competitor.
  • We review the interview questions that I will ask each competitor.
  • We agree on my fee, based on number of competitors to be called and number of franchise locations.
  • After the project is completed, I conduct a comprehensive debrief with you,  via a Zoom meeting,  reviewing all the data, including my observations and recommendations.
  • I will complete the project in about a week, once I receive payment. With multiple locations, the project usually takes a week per location.

How I was Introduced to Home Care:

Several years ago, I was confronted with the reality that my Mom lived alone, three hours away, and needed help.

I knew that I needed to get a caregiver in her home on a regular basis.  I started researching Home Care agencies in my hometown (Milford, Connecticut). 

I learned what was important and what to watch for. I researched websites and talked to management of local home care agencies and hired one.  I became a client!

My experience in hiring a local agency led me to work with Visiting Angels, the obvious standard in the Home Care. My Mom has since passed away.

I am the founder and president of Targeting Sales Growth, which is dedicated to helping my clients maximize their revenue and cash flow.  

My long experience as a business consultant includes being able to connect with senior management and key decision-makers.  In working with Visiting Angels’ clients, I have effectively connected with the owners and directors of their competitors.  The information that I provide comes from discussions with these senior level executives.
