EVENT SPEAKING
Periodically, I am invited as the guest speaker to various organizations in the Greater Boston area. Depending on my audience, I talk about effective communications, including open ended questions and empathetic listening and how that becomes a powerful asset in building business relationships. I also discuss outbound business development strategies and how to target and connect with high value prospects to build your business.
In addition, I have been as asked to speak to various job seeking networking groups across the area. I begin with effective communications techniques; talk about calendar management and research tools – including LinkedIn – while emphasizing that no matter what type of position being sought, as job seekers everyone must think of themselves as being in marketing and sales. I am certainly open to speaking to any organization where I can provide some sort of value to the audience. I always make my presentations highly interactive and customize each engagement, based on the needs of that organization. |
I learned more about selling in Ray Mascola's one-hour talk than I did from reading books by sales "experts". Before I heard Ray's presentation to the Society of Professional Consultants (SPC), I proposed solutions without taking the time to understand the needs of my potential customers. Ray clearly explained the benefits of asking open-ended questions and developing a better communications style. His presentation helped me and members of the SPC improve our sales strategies. I highly recommend you ask Ray to share his expertise with your organization.
