I provide current pricing and business information to Visiting Angels’ franchises on their key competitors, to help them position their pricing model for 2025. Visiting Angels franchises across the country use my services to identify current pricing and operations data on their primary competitors.

Here is how my competitive data program works:


  • You select the key competitors (usually 6 competitors, a mix of national franchises and regional independents) that I will contact.
  • We review the pricing and interview questions that I will ask each competitor.
  • We agree on my fee, based on the number of competitors and franchise locations to be called.
  • After the project is completed, I conduct a comprehensive debrief with you,
    (using Zoom), reviewing all the data. I provide my observations and recommendations on where you might raise your pricing and minimum hours, per visit and per week. 
  • If you own one franchise, I will complete the project in a few days. If you own multiple franchises, the project typically takes about three days per location.

As an additional project, I also provide information on the hourly rates that the competitors are paying their Caregivers.

How I was Introduced to Home Care:

Several years ago, I was confronted with the reality that my Mom lived alone, three hours away, and needed help.

I knew that I needed to get a caregiver in her home on a regular basis.  I started researching Home Care agencies in my hometown (Milford, Connecticut). 

I learned what was important and what to watch for. I researched websites and talked to management of local home care agencies and hired one.  I became a client!

My experience in hiring a local agency led me to work with Visiting Angels, the obvious standard in the Home Care. My Mom has since passed away.

I am the founder and president of Targeting Sales Growth, which is dedicated to helping my clients maximize their revenue and cash flow.  

My long experience as a business consultant includes being able to connect with senior management and key decision-makers.  In working with Visiting Angels’ clients, I have effectively connected with the owners and directors of their competitors.  The information that I provide comes from discussions with these senior level executives.  

The competitive pricing and policy information that I provide enables my clients to stay at the top end of the pricing curve – not leaving money on the table – as they remain competitive in their market area.
